Evening with US Special Envoy to Sudan MG J. Scott Gration Tuesday, October 26 • 6:00pm - 9:00pm Double Tree Hotel - Crystal City 300 Army Navy Drive Arlington, VA
The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, in partnership with the Sudanese-American Community, will host The United States Special Envoy to Sudan, Major General J. Scott Gration.
In January of 2011 Southern Sudan will hold an independence referendum on whether or not it should remain part of Sudan. The outcome of the referendum will have an impact on the region, as well as on the Sudanese-American community.
The event will provide an opportunity for community members to hear first hand from a Senior official on the status of the referendum, and what the future may hold for Sudan. There will also be a question and answer session, between MG Gration and the community. The evening will be a very informative session for those desiring current information about the situation in Sudan and the upcoming referendum.
Space is limited so please RSVP by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
For any questions please call Abed Ayoub at 202-244-2990.
