سلام للجميع
و كل عام و انتم بخير
عقدت جمعية الدراسات السودانية ببريطانيا بالتعاون مع جامعة جنوب افريقيا (يونيسا) مؤتمرا حول مستقبل السودان الى عام 2011 و الى ما بعد ذلك في 25-28/11/2009. شارك في المؤتمر باحثون من السودان و الشرق الاوسط و امريكا الشمالية و اوربا (سودانيون و غير سودانيين). حاولت الحصول على نسخة الكترونية للاوراق المقدمة لعرضها هنا عسى ان يستفيد منها الباحثون ذوي الصلة الا ان رئيس المؤتمر البروفيسور شادراك قوتو قد تحفظ على ذلك بحجة المحافظة على الملكية الفكرية للمؤلفين و لكنه وعد بارسال نسخة من مستخلصات الابحاث لاحقا. على كل، ساورد قائمة بالاوراق المقدمة مع بعض المعلومات عن المؤلفين و ساقوم بارسال البريد الالكتروني للمؤلف لمن يرغب في الحصول على البحث كاملا. سيشتمل هذا البوست ايضا على صور عامة و صور لبعض المتحدثين في المؤتمر و صور اخرى للفعاليات التي صاحبت المؤتمر. امل ان يفيد البوست في اثراء النقاش حول مستقبل السودان

الدكتور روسو ايطالي يعمل بجامعة جنوا و قد اتخذ من تصريح مدير جهاز الامن السابق عنوانا لورقته.
ساقوم باضافة مقدمة و خاتمة الورقة هنا و امل ان يساهم البعض في التعليق عليهما
اولا المقدمة:
Quote: “We will revert back to how we were”.
“We were Islamic extremists, then we became moderate and civilized, believing in piece and life for everyone. However, we will revert back to how we were if necessary. There is nothing any easier than that”. This threatening statement issued by Sudan’s top security official Salah “Gosh” is an open window in the ambiguous evolution undertaken by the Islamist movement/party in Sudan in the last twenty years. |
ثانيا: الخاتمة:
Quote: Conclusion: will they “revert back”?
What is certain, however, is that the ICC arrest warrant will not produce the kind of outcome threatened in the statement that we’ve taken as a title for this paper, pronounced just a few days before the Pre-trial chamber of the ICC issued its verdict. This declaration is perfectly consistent with the NCP’s habit of reacting to foreign pressures with anger and threatening statements. The regime, being a coalition of army and security services personnel, Islamist technocrats and Islamist businessmen- these are components of the NCP at the moment- has dropped ideology in favor of power, and knows well that any ill-considered act will accelerate its fall. On the contrary, the ruling elites need to gain- not lose- legitimacy. It is for these reasons that it cannot afford to go back to “extremism”, especially in a time like this. |

نعود لورقة الدكتور روسو من جامعة جنوا بايطاليا. توضح الورقة كيف ان اوربيا قد قرأ تصريح المدير السابق
لجهاز الامن و المخابرات على نحو اعمق من قراءة السودانيين له رغم انه يخصهم. و يكفي انه كتب ورقة
علمية لا تقل كلماتها عن 5000 كلمة منقبا في كيفية تفكير الحزب الحاكم. قد يتفق او يختلف الناس مع
الدكتور روسو فيما ذهب اليه و لكن نقر له في تفسيره المنطقي لظاهرة التصريحات الحادة لاعضاء حكومة الانقاذ
الوطني. السؤال الذي تم طرحه من قبل الباحث يبدو منطقيا جدا و قد اجتهد في ايراد الاسانيد التي تدعم
اجابته عليه.
مع اعجابي الشخصي بفكرة طرح السؤال و الاجابة عليه في خاتمة الورقة كما هو موضح اعلاه، اتساءل هل يتفق القراء مع
النتيجة التي توصل اليها الدكتور روسو فيما يتعلق بعدم امكانية عودة الانقاذ بالسودانيين الى بدايات عهدها.
