أرسلت الرسالة للجيمع بمن في ذلك أصدقائي الغرببين، فهم أيضاً مهتمون بالسودان، لأن بلدنا أصبح ظاهرة كوكبية تستحق الاهتمام من كل إنسان واعي، ذي ضمير حي، على ظهر هذا الكوكب. يمكنك استخدام نص الرسالة بإسمك بدلاً من إسمي، إذا كنت تشاركني القناعة في مضمونها. حينها ستكون الرسالة رسالتك أنت أيضاً. همتكم معانا! خلاص قرفنا!
Dear friends,
There is a huge Sudanese revolution of unspeakable magnitude and possible repercussions taking place in cyberspace. It is in the form of a Facebook campaign group called "Girfna" (قرفنا) which in ٍSudanese colloquial Arabic means "DISGUSTED!" The purpose of the campaign is to defeat Sudan's dictator Omar Hassan Elbashir and his National Conference Party (NCP) in the upcoming presidential and general elections (which are taking place simultaneously). November is the registration month for the elections. Girifna "قرفنا" is proving to be a powerful youth group mimicking many election revolutions in recent history. It is as spontaneous as any other, and it is gaining support from all sectors of the Sudanese virtual -and non-virtual- community as it reaches deep into the grassroots. The group is working hard at the grassroots level to encourage people regardless of their political persuasion, which puts the group in an even higher moral platform.
