On one hand,like most of Sudan,Itis true that the Rubatab Land= Poverty+Underdevelopment+ Forced migration, but on the other hand, I think the only viable alternative is a nationl struggle for peace, democracy, sustainable development , and respect for human rights in Sudan. The tribalist parties, and regional parties won't promote peace, and justice in Sudan.
I beg to differ with you, and I don't think most of the Rubatab would support a call for a tribal base political group, or a new regional group. Many Rubatab families like my maternal family, Shibeika who has been forced to leave their Saqia intact ,in Mugrat Island during the 1850s, and their relatives Badri, Malik, Shakak, Haj Elhassan,Habakwi etc.. have been de-tribalized, and assimilated nicely the Sudanese social fabric. Let us all have a committment to promote peace, and justice to our beloved Sudan
