The Sudanese Army Commits Another Massacre on the First Day of Ramadan

To all free journalists and media professionals: From today, we must hold the Sudanese army responsible for the heinous crimes committed in its name by the Muslim Brotherhood militias and their regional allies. The army has become a front for the dirty work carried out by criminals. On this first day of Ramadan, the Sudanese army committed a horrific massacre in the village of Umm Rosoum in Kordofan State. They marched on the village, killing children and the elderly, who had gathered to collect water for their Ramadan needs. They showed no respect for the sanctity of the month in which the Quran was revealed—the same Quran that this rebellious group failed to pursue its guide lines, despite their constant recitation of it. What is the religion of this oppressive and aggressive group that has been attacking unarmed civilians for over a thousand days؟ To call these deviants Muslims is an insult to our pure religion. How can these murderers dare to invoke the name of God while they revel in killing children, women, and the elderly, and drop chemical weapons on the villagers؟ The poor, who observe the fast despite their dire circumstances and water scarcity—why do these killers relish painting such a grim picture on the faces of true believers in God, those who diligently perform their religious duty under the scorching sun, searching under its flames for water drawn from the depths of a hand-dug well؟ this army has become a heavy burden on the Sudanese people, After these successive massacres, does anyone still see any justification for its continued existence؟ The vicious war waged by the Sudanese army against Sudanese communities necessitates, that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) awaken from their deep slumber, to strike at the strongholds of this brutal and aggressive army, and avenge these vulnerable and impoverished people, whose only crime is being born in this region – Kordofan and Darfur. If the two armies – the SPLM and the RSF – fail to fulfill their duty to restrain the Sudanese army, a new armed force will emerge to seek retribution for these victims. The means to arm themselves are readily available, and the situation has reached a critical point. If this new force calls for mobilizing social networks from West Africa, it will do so. The Sudanese army has enlisted the help of the Egyptian army at the Merowe military base and forces from the Tigray rebels of Ethiopia. This war, according to the Sudanese army's deputy commander, Lieutenant General Yasser al-Atta, is a war of extermination and ethnic cleansing against the people of western Sudan, as documented in recordings and statements. Since he has enlisted the help of Ethiopian rebels and the Egyptian air force in Merowe, what prevents western Sudan from... The reliance on Western, Central, and Southern Africa, and the fact that the journalist, who is the mouthpiece of the Sudanese army, incited the army in an audio recording to exterminate women in western Sudan because they give birth to what she called "West African diaspora tribes," so, why do the victims remain silent؟ A third military path is imperative, one not bound by any appeasement agenda, and one pursued swiftly. The world respects neither the dove of peace nor the olive branch; it only bows to vultures that tear flesh and break bones. He who accepts humiliation finds it easy to bear. Our religion obligates us to fight those who attack our lives, our property, and our honor. Our religion punishes us if we falter and heed the voices of the defeatists. Everyone who feels within themselves the responsibility to protect life and honor, must answer the call to repel aggression when summoned. The right to self-defense is a legitimate and legal right. After this series of heinous crimes of ethnic cleansing and genocide, it is time to think outside the box and confront the aggression, in a manner commensurate with the scale of the crimes committed by this army. Since its formation a century ago, we have witnessed nothing from this army, but the extermination of two million South Sudanese, three hundred thousand souls in Darfur, and thousands of civilians in this war, now in its third year. The cup has overflowed, and rural communities, herders, and farmers are searching for more effective solutions. These solutions lie in a project similar to those of Roland Kabila – Zaire. Paul Kagame – Rwanda, the total sweep, even if it leads to an alliance with neighboring African entities, societies and countries, for only iron can break iron, and there is no room to give the enemy the thousandth opportunity to strike us on our left cheek time and time again, for meekness and humiliation are not among the traits of the descendants of whom Churchill said that they are the bravest whose feet have ever touched the earth.
