Sudan: Between the Chaos of Destructive Alliances and the Unbreakable Will of the Revolution.

It cannot be ignored that there is little difference between the dissolved National Congress Party and the leadership of the Sudanese military institution, which includes the army, security forces, police, Islamist brigades, and various militias such as the Popular Defense Forces, the Popular Police, Mujahideen, and others. These armed formations have brought nothing but devastation to Sudan and its people for over three decades and continue to do so to this day. They have contributed to the destruction and regression of Sudan, as well as the killing, torture, and displacement of millions. Unfortunately, the current leadership of the Sudanese army, despite attempts by some to justify or deny its actions, represents a direct extension of these forces. The Sudanese military institution, at its core, is dominated by Islamist leaders affiliated with the dissolved National Congress Party. This bitter truth remains an undeniable fact, a testimony to history and reality, whether acknowledged or not. As for the armed movements fighting alongside the Sudanese army against the Rapid Support Forces, they have proven to be no different in their opportunistic approach from the ousted National Congress regime. Despite their claims of fighting what they call the “War of Dignity,” these assertions lack logic or credibility. These movements, which have exploited the war and the state’s weakness, have engaged in this conflict not to achieve national or ethical goals as they claim, but rather in pursuit of narrow personal interests and petty gains unrelated to dignity or patriotism. Their actions reflect nothing but political opportunism. Worse still, they recruit the sons of the impoverished masses, throwing them into battles and exploiting their lives and blood as a means to fulfill their leaders’ ambitions and desires. The alliance between the Islamist-dominated Sudanese army and opportunistic armed movements is a coalition driven by narrow interests that neither serve Sudan nor its people. Instead, it constitutes a blatant assault on the aspirations of Sudanese citizens and the glorious revolution they forged with their sacrifices in December. Despite this painful reality, we remain confident that the will of the Sudanese people, which triumphed over the National Congress regime, will once again prevail against this destructive war. The revolutionaries of December, who overthrew a deeply entrenched system of injustice and corruption, are capable of standing against war profiteers and narrow-minded opportunists. They will continue their struggle to end this devastating war and alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people. We are certain that this war, no matter how long it lasts, will end through the people’s will. The war profiteers and those with narrow agendas will be defeated, peace will be achieved, and Sudanese citizens will return to their homes and cities. The opportunistic alliances that have destroyed Sudan and displaced its people will crumble. The revolutionaries will once again return to the streets with chants and patriotic songs, carrying the banners of hope to build a new Sudan rooted in freedom, peace, and justice. Shame and disgrace to the Islamists, all warring factions, and everyone who has contributed to the displacement of this kind-hearted people and the destruction of this great nation.
