لا يخفى على احدكم الدمار الذي سببته الامطار والفيضانات في مناطق متفرقة من السودان في ولايات كسلا وسنار وولاية النيل الابيض والذي بثته اجهزة الاعلام في الايام السابقة خاصة ولاية كسلا حيث تشردت آلاف الاسر في العراء وفقدوا المأوى والمأكل ، وما يترتب على هذا الدمار من تدهور صحي وبيئي و تفشي للامراض ولجميع هذه الاسباب الجمعية بصدد تسيير قوافل إلى هذه المناطق لمشاركة اهلنا في اجتياز هذه المحنة ومتابعة كيفية تلافي هذه الآثار.

الموضوع: تسيير قوافل صحية واغاثية للمناطق المتأثرة بالامطار والفيضانات ولاية كسلا – ولاية سنار – ولاية النيل الأبيض جمعية البيئيين جمعية سودانية طوعية تضم عدد مقدر من الشباب المتطوعين ،واستشعارا منا بالواجب والدور الذي يتحتم ان تلعبه منظمات المجتمع المدني في توظيف طاقات الشباب في مساعدة المنكوبين واعادة التعميير ، الجمعية بصدد تسيير قوافل صحية واغاثية للمناطق المتاثرة بالامطار والفيضانات في كل من ولاية كسلا ،ولاية سنار ، ولاية النيل الابيض ، الجدير بالذكر بان للجمعية علاقات مشاركة مع بعض الجمعيات القاعدية في تلك المناطق ، خاصةً ولاية كسلا حيث قامت باجراء حصر للمتاثرين والاحتياجات ، ,و المناطق الأكثر تضرراً. نوجه ندائنا لكم للمساهمة في تنفيذ هذا البرنامج بارسال دعمكم المادي او العيني ( ادوية –مواد تموينية – ناموسيات – خيم او مشمعات) باسرع وقت ممكن على عنوان الجمعية ، مع العلم بان هذه الخطوة الاسعافية هي جزء من مشروع المساهمة في اعادة تاهيل هذه المناطق والذي تنوي الجمعية تنفيذه خلال الفترة القادمة. للدعم المادي يمكنكم ارسال تبرعاتكم لـ:

Proposal for Environmental awareness & Health Education Campaign
In Kassala State

Project Title: Environmental Awareness & Health Education Campaign Implemented by: Members of Environmentalists Society
Project Location: Kassla State.
Project Duration: One week.
1. Introduction: River Gash floods destroyed most of kassla town resulting major losses of property and built structures. The flood waters inundated large areas creating pools that favour the spread of malaria carrying mosquitoes and pollution of drinking water with expected major health problems in the area. Most of the efforts carried by the government, donors or NGOs are directed towards saving life and aid to lessen the sufferings of the affected population. However, the environmental negative impacts of such floods are not properly given attention. It is important that these efforts must incorporate environmental awareness and health education programs so that the inhabitants take the precautionary measures to protect themselves.
2. Objectives: The Environmentalists Society with its expertise in environmental awareness and health education program intends to carry out activities in Kassala town designed to raise awareness of the population regarding the expected negative impact of the floods. The Environmentalists will carry out these activities in collaboration with its focal community based organizations in Kassla town. Hence the objectives of this proposal are as follows: 1. To help the people whom affected by flood. 2. Carry out an environmental awareness campaign in Kassala town 3. Carry out health education program in Kassala town 4. Collect data on the environmental impacts of the floods
3. Activities: The activities of the proposal include: 1. Medical services. 2. Workshops with government officials. 3. To learn the basics of medical and clinical work. 4. Health campaigns. 5. Forums in different neighbor hood with the public in Kassla.
4. Methods: 1. Cleaning and opening of drains campaigns. 2. Lectures informal contacts. 3. Leaflets / handouts 4. Health days. Staff 1. Environmentalist / Ecologist 2. Sanitary Engineer 3. Socio-economist 4. Medical / Doctors(5) 5. Medical Assistant/ first aid(5) 6. assistant Pharmacists(2) 7. Lab. Technician(5) 8. Lab. Perpetrate (3) 9. 15 volunteers from Environmentalists Society 10. 35 volunteers from the focal CBO.
