Negrophobia: A Sudanese’s Identity Crises or War of Existence?
Definition
We introduce Negro-phobia to describe the condition of individuals who’re overwhelmed with fear of
becoming, being referred to or dislike themselves for being a Negro
History states that 400 years ago in Jamestown, Virginia, USA, the chief of the Powhatan Indians (Natives)
who wrongly thought that English colonists would self destruct & die off without his intervention due to
famine & disease. Almost 75% of colonists who arrived in early 16th century had died. But more convoys
kept coming from England & eventually they were able to prevail over the resourceful & stronger force of
the Indian Empire. They did that through ecological imperialism whereby they replaced & changed
native’s living landscape & culture to make it easier for them to adapt, but was intolerable to the Indian’s.
The colony was firmly established in early 17th century to plant the seed of contemporary America.
It is interesting to observe how history may repeat itself in Darfur issue. The so-called separatists &
proponents of war in the central Sudan have decided that the people of southern Sudan & Darfur are
cluttering the capital cities & central Sudan for the fear of causing bewildering cultural changes that would
affect their quality of life - Negrophobia. They are turning everything they touched into black & erasing
Arabic features & culture. For this reason, they initially instigated a war on the capital peripheries driving
away & de-stabilizing the Negro-looking population. Although now it is a well known fact & based on
global race & ethnicity classification, that everyone in Sudan from Wadi Halfa to Juba & from Port Sudan
to El Geneina is a NEGRO. The war in Darfur has been described by many as a scorched-earth offensive
extended from inside Khartoum backed by misguided Arabs in Darfur in order to kill or hold-off the
northward migration of Negros in its infancy.
Those in the center failed to comprehend that the alleged ethnic cleansing in Darfur would have negative
backlash on their fundamental agendas & undermine their cause for purportedly deriving Sudanese-
Africans away. Instead of forcing Darforians to escape into bordering African countries, there has been
mass counter-migration from the war-torn areas to the center & the capital (back-flushing). This is
demonstrated by the exponential growth in population of Darfur in & around the capital cities as well as the
apparent cultural transformation. While it is true that many of these Darforians will be deprived of decent
living conditions including health care & education, & many may die as the result of poverty, epidemics &
random killings by whatever means, some will certainly survive these assaults. The surviving Negros in
addition to those who are arriving everyday, will lead to full-scale cannibalization of the center & probably
the north causing multilevel changes in the cultural ecosystem such that it will be become harder & harder
for others to survive.
People in Sub-Saharan Africa must remember that the western nations are bonding together to prevent the
influx & migration of Africans to their countries because they realized that there is a cultural revolution in
the making in Europe & North America. If this influx left alone, 100 years from today there will not be any
trace of caucasians anymore. That is why we see that immigration reforms are taking center-stage in
presidential & lawmakers campaign agendas in the West. Even those who are allowed to enter western
countries legally for political correctness are marginalized & kept at bay from the main economic stream.
They end up doing things like delivering news papers & pizza, security guards or attending gas filling
stations. Even the western banks & lending institutions are jacking up interest rates on loans which force
them into delinquencies hampering them from improving their lives. The hard truth is that the west has no
genuine interest in resolving African problems. Rapid deployment of NATO in the Balkans, contrasted
with lethargic response to crises in Darfur, Rowanda, Somalia, and Congo are glaring examples. Close to
3/4th of the world are suffering from acute Negrophobia & would rather see the “black honeybees”
go
extinct in 50-100 years time from today, & are quietly happy that Africans are doing it by themselves. The
big picture is that Sudanese, along with the rest of blacks, should really hurry up to mend their differences,
resolve these ethnic conflicts & be ready to fight a global war of existence, which is already underway.©Dr. Mohamed N. Bushara
