United Sudan Liberation Movement/Army: Condolences on late Edward Lino Wuor *********************************************************************************************
Freedom, Justice, Peace, Democracy.
The chairman Ali Haroun Dood and the leadership council of the United Sudan Liberation Movement extend their heartfelt condolences to the entire people of The South Sudan, the people of Abeiye and the family on the passing of late Cde Edward Lino Wuor Abyei on 15/04/2020. The political veteran and the freedom fighter of South Sudan Mr Lino was one of the best minds on identity politics, revolution and liberation. His broader perspective on the rights of fellow human beings gave the word struggle more meaning than many freedom fighters. In September 1999, he said “We must work hard together with other marginalized Sudanese as Darfurians...” Edward will be remembered as a martyr, father of sacrifices, selfless leader, thinker, poet, writer, and man of the people.
May Alla rest his soul in eternal peace and bestow his family and friends with patience. Inna lillahi wa inna ilihi Rajioon.
