Back to reality,Independence Day!!

It has been 57 years since independence of our country.When you sit back and reflect you find that we have really achieved nothing, our record shows a big zero.Apart from the laudatory songs praising the independence generation and celebrating the mere act of independence as being an achievement in itself you will not find any other thing worth mentioning.It is ironic that the few things the British has left behind are the only things still standing as a source of national pride, our president is conducting his nasty business as a ruler from the presidential palace built by the British.The agricultural projects established.during the colonial era in Aljazera and Nile province might be our main source of income after the oil dream has evaporated when the country bifurcated.Despite the great damage incurred on these projects by so called national governments, they still stands as our hope for the future.Take another example railway which used to connect the country from end to end and provides a cheap mean of transportation for long years following independence.It has been intentionally dismantled and destroyed for political reasons without taking into consideration the implication of such act and its effect in the economy and the development.
