Wide human rights committed upon Blue Nile and South Kordofan incidents
|
Khartoum-Upon the outbreak of the incidents of the Blue Nile and South Kordofan states in June and July 2011, wide human rights violations were committed, when a number of innocents were brutally killed and hundreds of women and children were imprisoned under fabricated accusations. The security service arrested more than 30 women in South Kordofan and imprisoned them in Al-Obeid prison for long time before they released later. The violations included confiscations of properties and release states of all those who are loyal to the SPLM-North. More than two years ago, the authorities arrested around 113 of the SPLM-north members and remained behind the bars for long time with their parents; sons and relatives not informed about their charges and when will be released? The Sudanese authorities for defending human rights and freedoms formed a legal committee chaired by Al-Tigani Hassan to defend the arrested persons.
