Dr. Kamara: Sudan did not transfer economic growth into poverty control
|
Khartoum-The resident representative of the African Bank for Development Dr. Abdol Kamara has affirmed that Sudan has achieved good economic growth in the past few days but this growth has been translated into building the institution capacity and the poverty control.
Speaking to a workshop on evaluation study on the impact of the social insurance funds on reducing poverty in Sudan at the friendship hall in Sudan, he stressed the importance of involving the private sector in funding the projects aimed at reducing poverty and undesired the importance of regional integration to support capacity building in Sudan in area of poverty control and good governance.
The state ministry for finance Majdi Hassan has said that the study revealed a group of challenges including the poor financial resources and negative impacts of inflation on the payment of the funds and cost of services. He urged the African Bank to fund projects to build the capacities of human resources and the institutions of the social insurance funds
