Libyan Prime Minister arrives at Khartoum today
|
Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Libyan Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thani, accompanied by a large delegation, will arrive at Khartoum on a three-day official visit, and will be received at Khartoum international airport by Sudanese president Omar al-Bashir. Al-Bashir and al-Thani will hold a meeting on the airport. According to Al-Rai Al-A’am newspaper that the Sudanese-Libyan talks would begin today Monday and include Sudanese Defense Minister, Abdul Rahim Mohamed Hussein, Foreign Minister, Ali Karti al-Thani will be accompanied by Libyan Deputy Prime Minister for security Affairs ‘ foreign Minister , the minister of labor and social welfare Minister and economy and industry minster Sudan’s Foreign Minister Ali Karti welcomed al-Thani‘s visit to Khartoum and considered it as a step strengthening the bilateral relations and supports the efforts of the national dialogue between the Libyan warning parties to achieve peace and stability in Libya. Al-Thani has expressed on a number of occasions that he believes Sudan is supporting extremist groups in Libya and throughout Northern Africa.
