Khartoum/ Abuja, Jan. 3 (SUNA)- President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir leaves Wednesday for the Libyan Jamahiriyah to participate in Tripoli summit, which is called for by Nigerian President and Chairman of the African Union (AU) Obasanjo. AU Chief Mediator at the Abuja peace talks on Darfur Dr. Salem Ahmed Salem announced to SUNA that presidents of eight countries have been invited for the summit, including the Presidents of Sudan, Egypt, Chad, Central Africa Republic, Libya, Eritrea, Gabon and Nigeria. He said the summit would focus on peace in Darfur. BT/BT
