Khartoum, Dec. 21 (SUNA)- The Vice - President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, received at his office in the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers Wednesday the British Ambassador to Sudan, Ian Cliff. Taha has acquainted the Ambassador of Britain with the stages and steps for implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement and progress of the current negotiations in Abuja between the government and Darfur rebels in the various axis. They also discussed ways to benefit from the recommendations and outcome of the Comprehensive Conference of Darfur People, which is now convening in Al-Fasher, toward providing a favourable atmosphere at Abuja negotiations and achieving a peace agreement that will be acceptable by all parties. The meeting also tackled ways to enhance and consolidate the relations between Sudan and Britain. HH/MO
