Dar Es Salaam, Dec. 21 (SUNA) - Sudan participated with a high-ranking delegation, led by President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, in the inauguration ceremony of the new Tanzania President, Jakaya Kikwete, who won the presidential elections held last week. The inauguration celebrations were held in the national stadium in Dar Es Salaam with the participation of 13 African heads of state and government. Newspapers issued in Dar Es Salaam highlighted the occasion and described the African presidents' presence as the first of its kind in the history of Tanzania. BT/BT
