Khartoum, Nov. 14 (SUNA) - The Council of States resumed its sittings Monday, chaired by its Speaker Ali Yahya. Yahya briefed members on the participation of the council in the meeting of the African and Arab shura councils and senates which was recently held in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. The Chairman of Legislation and Legal Affairs Committee of the council, Dr. Ismail Al-Haj Musa, presented a report on the outcome of the meeting of the round table of the parliamentarian partners of the UNESCO which was held in Paris last month. The members of the Council of States deliberated on the legal, legislative and parliamentary issues and the regulations of the council. BH/BT
