EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF
SOUTHERN SUDAN ISLAMIC COUNCIL
ِBased on previous plans on re-organizing, strengthen the New Sudan Islamic Council (NSIC) which will reflect positively on Muslims and Islamic activities in New Sudan, the South Sudan Islamic Council (SSIC) met at Yei town in the period between 24-28 April 2005, this resulted in the formation of the executive Committee of the SSIC from the following:

1- Eng. Mahmoud Elhag Yousif Chairman.
2- Mr. Nur Aldin AbdulgadirRehan Ac/Deputy Chairman and Secretary for finance.
3- Sheikh Ezaldin Nemir Deng Secretary General.
4- Dr. Gabir Ring Lual Secretary for Health.
5- Sheikh Mahamad Ali Bahar Assistance Secretary General
6- Mrs. Batoul Bendy Secretary for Women.
7- Mr. Abdalhamid Makur Yowal Secretary for Education and Guidance.
8- Mr. Qasim Yousif Fataki Secretary for Awgaf.
9- Ms Zinab Bilal Abdalla Secretary for External Communications.
10- Mr. Bashir Marko Lochapio. Secretary for planning and Projects.
11- Sheikh Idress Secretary for Call and faith.
12- Qhasim Idris Khalifa Bilal Madiet Secretary for Youth.
13- Mr. Khalil Abdalla Mabok Secretary for Humanitarian Affaires.
14- Dr Mohamad Abdalla Aljak, Member.
15- Mr Ibrahim Awok Lam Ajak, Member.
16- Mulana Mliek Chol, Member.
17- Sheikh Ibrahim Lukusa, Member.
18- Sheikh Makki Ibrahim, Member.

Later, three members from Upper Nile will include in the executive committee to fill the vacancies of the region.
