Hosni told MENA that Musa's decision to open the office was a step towards backing reconstruction in South Sudan.
He said the League was coordinating with Sudan and with donor countries for this purpose in order to achieve Arab and international coordination on reconstruction efforts in South Sudan.
Hosni, meanwhile, said an agreement was reached between Musa and head of the African Union Commission Alpha Oumar Konare on holding the second Arab-African summit within two years.
