Uganda's police spokesman Asuman Mugenyi told Xinhua by telephone on Thursday that the Sudanese authorities contacted Uganda to train over 250 officers in batches of 50.
Mugenyi said that the officers will be trained at Kibuli Police Training School in Kampala, noting that the drills will start in May and each group would be trained for three months.
He noted that the exercise is organized by the British Council.
