GoS loses two battles today

A Military Statement

JEM forces won two battles against the government army, early today June 3rd, 2010.

The first battle took place near Muhajariyya where our forces crushed a GoS army advancing to rescue some of its troops stranded near Adola, the site of the last engagement with JEM.

The second battle took place at Usban Douma, near Tawaisha in north Darfur.  GoS army defeated at Usban consisted of its so-called highly trained special force from central Sudan.

In these battles, JEM destroyed one military tank and captured two together with around 50 landcruisers mounted with guns and rocket launchers.  Further details regarding captured GoS officers will be released in our Arabic communications.

At a different level, JEM apologizes for stating it had shot down an Apache Helicopter three days ago.  The Helicopter shot down was a different make and not an Apache as we erroneously reported.
