Non Muslim Commission lashes at US Secretary of State's report
Khartoum, Dec 30 (SUNA)- The Non Muslim Commission has lashed out at US Secretary of State annual report accusing Sudan of violating freedom of religion
Although the report has commended the Commission, has belittld religious freedom in Sudan, said the Commission
In a meeting held Thursday on the Commission's participation in Christmas Day celebrations, the Commission has deliberated a report on its role in the next term to follow the referendum
The Commission said it has not received any complaint about human rights abuse, a thing which ensures a breakthrough in the non Muslims situations. The Commission said it has been disseminating tolerance spirit and the respect of other since its formation in 2006
Moreover, the state is committed to religious freedom and that Education Ministry has recognized degrees awarded by theological schools
The Secretary General of the Commission said that the Commission has toured the different churches in Khartoum State sharing the Christians their celebrations , AH/MO
