President Al-Bashir Returns Home after a Visit to Eritrea
Khartoum, Mar. 5 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Friday evening returned home after a one-day visit to Asmara, Eritrea, during which he held talks with the Eritrean President, Assais Afwerki, on progress of the bilateral relations, means of consolidating the cooperation between Sudan and Eritrea and regional and international issues of mutual concern
President Al-Bashir was received upon return at Khartoum Airport by the Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, and a number of ministers
The Presidential Advisor, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, who accompanied President Al-Bashir during his visit to Asmara, said that Sudan has affirmed its solidarity with Eritrea in confronting international challenges
The delegation accompanied President Al-Bashir in his visit to Asmara included the Presidential Advisor, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ali Ahmed Karti, the Director of the Intelligence and Security, Gen. Mohamed Attal-Moula, and the State Minister at the Presidency of the Republic, Idris Mohamed Abdul-Gadir
