Al Smani Al Wasilla received the Japanese Envoy
Khartoum, Jan 26 (SUNA) - the State Minister at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Al Samani al Wasilla on Tuesday received the visiting Japanese Envoy Kitaro Sato, the Assistant to the Japanese Foreign Minister Responsible for Peace Building in Africa
The meeting reviewed the development of the bilateral relations between the Sudan and Japan particularly with regard to the foundation of sustainable economic partnership and how Sudan could make use of the Japanese experience and technology in boosting economic development in the country. The Japanese official expressed his country's readiness to encourage Japanese investment in the Sudan
The two sides have also reviewed the current political developments in the country as well as the experience of the democratic transformation and the helping role Japan could play in boosting peace in the country
