We are moving forward every day,
Towards our objectives,
And we are hopeful,
That we can achieve a lasting victory,
Between now and then.
Yesterday we stumbled and fell,
And stood up and took our stance again,
Now if we happen to fall again,
We will be falling forward,
Towards our objectives,
Not backward.
We are determined not to betray
Our martyrs who lost their lives,
Because of the higher principles,
Of human dignity.
Those heroes whom we lost along the way,
Will be glorified,
Their heroic works will be glittering throughout,
Our history.
They have baptized the land of a new Sudan,
With their expensive blood.
