I love the Red Sea,
I love pineapple tree,
I love to see,
My land free.
Oh, wait please,
I even love peace,
I love to see,
The whole nation at ease.
I love this soil,
Blessed with oil.
I also love these timber trees,
Not forgetting our great River Nile,
I am a son of the River Nile.
I love Jebel Mara,
Nuba Mountains,Imatong,
And Kesala.
I love Sudan,
I want justice done,
To the people of Sudan.
I love Khartoum,
The juncture of the two rivers,
Blue and White Niles.
I love Khartoum,
The land of our forefathers.
I love Kiirtuom or Kartuom,
This is how Dinka, Nuer and Shilluk,
Used to call it,
And we will never forget it.
