Deeply Worried.! by Mack Awer, from Cairo

11/26/2005 5:50 am

I am really worried and dumbfounded for a startling view that I saw on Sudan T.v news coverage on Thursday, 24/11/2005.

It was while our President of the GoSS and First Vice President of GoNU, His Excellency, Salva Kiir Mayardit when recieving delegates from the African National Congress Party from the Republic of South Africa in his office in Khartoum. The way he recieved them makes me worried if it is routine. I saw him embracing and kissing the visitors on the cheek. I can advice our president that kissig and embracing guests, took away the life of former president of Palestine, Yasir Arafat. He was poisoned in that incoungreous and surreptitous way.

We don't want to lose you at this dark time, our beloved leader!
Our charismatic leader, John likes Moses was sent to his early grave by our sworn enemies who are plannig day and night to silence you,our Joshua. We Southerners at this junction have no one to led us to the other side of the Jordan rather than you.
So don't embrace or kiss them- the Arabs, even I can say; No exceptio for our African brothers because politics is a dirty game. An Icon who was struggling for the freedom of Palestinians, Yasir Arafat was killed that way while showing his hospitality. the world is awash with bitter enemies who are always seeking to downtrod the leaders of the oppressed people.

Take care, you and any Southern minister or leader that has a vision and aspiration for our homeland, the Land of South Sudan. Shaking hands is enough. You are all in the midst of wolves that daily seek to devour the sheep-you people.
