"But the advice I have received this morning is that in the next couple of days there may well be charges laid," he said. Police said they had not yet identified a clear motive for the attack, but understood there were a number of altercations which led to the incident. A 16-year-old boy was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault on police and resisting arrest, but the allegations against him are not related to the initial brawl. Mr Hyde said while relations between police and the Sudanese community were good, police were concerned about the possibility of retaliation. Measures had been introduced to prevent further attacks, including extra patrols in key areas of the city where Sudanese youths were known to gather, he said. Friends and family yesterday expressed their shock on hearing of Daniel's death. "He is one of the nicest people I know and one of the people you would least suspect this would happen to," a schoolmate wrote on the AdelaideNow message board. Daniel was born in a cattle-farming village south of Sudan. As a child he migrated to a refugee camp in Kenya to flee the Sudanese Civil War. He lived with his aunt in Uganda for a few years and in 2004 moved to Australia, at the age of 10, the Telegraph reports. In 2006 Daniel's mother, three brothers and three sisters joined him in Australia. Family friends say he then became a happier and more settled child.

Disturbing CCTV footage has been released showing a teenager being chased by an African gang through central Adelaide shortly before he was stabbed to death.

كما هو واضح لم تتضح أي تفاصيل جديدة عن الحادثة سوى إشارات البوليس بوجود مهاترات بين هؤلاء الشباب ..

ارى ان الجميع ترحم على المتوفي و تناسى اصل المشكلة المتمثلة في عصابات الشباب الجنوبين المنتشرة في مدن استراليا ......

الشاب المقتول قتل من قبل شباب من بني جلدته ينتمون لعصابة اعضائها من الشباب الجنوبين ..... تمت مطاردته جهارا نهارا اما مراى مسمع و من ثم قتله .... و قد ادلى صاحب المحل الذي قتل الشاب امامه ان السكين المستخدمة في الجريمة قد ابتيعت قبل لحظات من ارتكاب الجريمة ....

هذه الظاهرة تحتاج لمعالجة فقد انتشرت بكثرة ..... ما عليك الا ان تذهب لضواحي ملبورن الجنوبية الشرقية مثل داندينونغ و نوبل بارك و اسبرينغ فيل او الضواخي الغربية مثل فتس كرية و سن شاين و سانت البنس لتعيش واقع المشكلة و حجمها المستمر في التزايد .


اتمنى من رؤساء الجمعيات السودانية و الافريقية في استراليا, المهتمة فقط بمصالحها شخصية (وظيفية كانت او مادية او معنوية) ان تتوحد لحل هذه المشكلة التى تمس الجميع و ليس الجالية السودانية فحسب ........ و ربما يذكر الجميع ان اول ردة فعل الحكومة الاسترالية السابقة لتكرر هذه الحوادث هو تجميد برامج اللجوء من افريقيا ....

As a safety measure, police would undertake extra patrols in key areas of the city where Sudanese youths were known to gather or frequent, he said. With knife attacks on the rise, the commissioner also said he wanted to see ####l detectors more widely used to help police crack down on knife carriers. "We need to look at the circumstances in which police can search for these dangerous weapons," he said, acknowledging police could not prevent every knife attack. "But we need to make sure that a culture doesn't grow where the carrying of knives, particularly among some groups, becomes the norm. The family of Daniel, a 14-year-old schoolboy, held a news conference and said they did not harbour hard feelings over his death. "He died probably because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time," Daniel's uncle, Bol Machar, told ABC radio. "Thongjang (Daniel) was a bright boy, caring, loving, and mingled with other people very well. "We love him so dearly, we are proud of him and we miss him a lot," he said. The boy charged with his murder will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Monday, police said. A 16-year-old boy was arrested at the scene of the attack and charged with aggravated assault on police and resisting arrest. Mr Hyde also said laws should be amended to stop the scourge of knife crimes from spreading. Current laws allowed people to come up with "flimsy, invented and spurious" reasons for carrying knives, he said. "When we look around the world, you'll see that some countries do have serious problems with the carriage of knives and assaults with knives, including murders."

تتخوف الشرطة في مدينة ادبلايد جنوب استراليا ، من أن يقوم بعض أفراد الجالية السودانية بأخذ العدالة بيدها مقابل ا لطعن الذي أفضى لموت دانيال أواك الشاب البالغ من العمر 14 عاماً، والذي راح ضحية المشاجرة التي نشبت بين مجموعتين من التلاميذ السودانيين في وسط مدينة أديلايد وشارك فيها 15شاب من سودانيي جنوب السودان يوم الأربعاء الفائت. وهنالك أيضاً احد ضحايا المشاجرة في حالة خطرة بالمستشفى.

جاء في صحيفة الاسترالي أن نائب مفوض الشرطة غري بيرنز- Gary Burns- قال: "أنه لا يعتقد أن الأمر قد وصل المرحلة التي تتطلب أن تحذو الشرطة في أديلايد حذو شرطة ولاية فكتوريا"، التي شكلت قوة خاص في أواخر العام الماضي. أطلق عليها – Sarazan- للتعامل ومعالجة الجريمة بين اللاجئين الأفارقة. بعد مقتل الشاب السوداني ليب قوني Liep Gony نتيجة للضرب المفضي للموت.

ونقلت الصحيفة أيضا عن نائب مفوض الشرطة غري بيرنز- Gary Burns انه يجب أن يوضع في الاعتبار خلفية التى قدمت منها الجالية السودانية. " لقد قدموا من ثقافة مختلفة و دولة تشهد عنف خطير وتعصف بها الحرب – وقد كان بعض الأطفال الذين قدموا إلى استراليا جنود في هذه الحرب" وأضاف أن اللغة الإنجليزية ضعيفة بينهم، ولربما لم تتوفر لهم المهارات الأزمة لحل النزاعات.

وقال: غري بيرنز- Gary Burns انه على مدى ال16 شهر الماضي ، ارتكبت 450 جريمة بواسطة 93 من أفراد الجالية السودانية بمدينة أديلايد والتي يبلغ تعدادها الجالية السودانية بها 1,500 شخص.

رئيس الجمعية السودانية لجنوب استراليا ماكبو ديق ماكابو Mabok قال: لصحيفة الاسترالي " أن أحداث العنف التي أدت إلى الطعن وراح ضحيتها- الشاب دانيال أواك المبرز أكاديمياً كما وصفة أساتذته -ليست دلاله على أن هنالك قضية ذات أهمية كبيرة بين الشباب السوداني بأديلايد" اعتقد أن الأمر مجرد حادث عارض". واستطرد السيد ماكبو ديق ماكابو Mabok قائلاً: إنه يشعر بأن الشباب من السوداني يتلقون الدعم الكافي الذي يتيح لهم الاندماج في المجتمع الاسترالي، " إن البيئة مواتية جداَ هنا في استراليا " .

ديزموند كاهيل Desmond Cahill البروفيسور المتخصص في شؤون الهجرة والاندماج من RMIT قال: " بعض من هؤلاء الأطفال ربما يكونوا قد ولدوا ونشؤا في معسكرات اللاجئين – ولذا فإن التنشئة الاجتماعية كانت مليئة بالمشاكل-" ولذا فان معارفهم ومهاراتهم هي التي تعلموها من الشارع- أي هي معارف الشارع العادي- خلافاً للتنشئة الاجتماعية الطبيعية.

حسب ما ذكرت صحيفة الديلي تلغراف وفي يوم الأربعاء الماضي وبعد مشاجرة أشترك فيها حوالي 15 شاب سوداني تم طعن الطالب السوداني دانيال أواك ، ولقى مصرعه على أثر ذلك ، ويعاني شاب سوداني آخر بالمستشفى وهو في حالة خطرة.

يبلغ دانيال 14 عاما ويدرس بالصف التاسع بمدرسة القلب المقدس وكان من الطلبة المجتهدين المتميزيين حسب ما ذكر أساتذته، الجدير بالذكر ان هنالك حوالي 1500 سوداني بولاية جنوب أستراليا.
