Luai want us to believe that the NIFers robbery of the resources was a “mistake” meaning an honest mistake. To the contrary that was planned and well executed since the inception of the coup. The NIFers set the tone in for the new regime economic policy.
Mohamed El Amin Khalifa, one of the coup leaders was quoted by in An Nasr paper as having said
“Isn’t the wealth in Sudan Allah’s Wealth? Aren’t we we the overseers and regulators? It is imperative that we devise mechanisms and executive measures in order to return the wealth to Allah” (source: Almubarak, 2001: page 9).
I got news for you, Luai, the Almighty God doesn’t steal. It is the NIFers who stole the money and in the process abused the religion and God.
If you still believe that such an economic violence and robbery is an honest mistake, think again.
That was/is a calculated policy which resulted in driving 96% of the people into poverty.
As to the corruption under Inghaz, it is no more a fcat of life. It became a way of life and there is a world of difference between these two.
