Art can be used as a possible means to educate the masses , to decorate our walls to a void fatal and boring emptiness, to encourage a greater dialogue between disparate groups, to maintain good diplomatic relations between countries ,to resolve humane, social and political issues and to give a slant about abstract problems.
Art gives us an opportunity for the positive transformation. In reality, the artist is a motivating force for the good. In Sudan, Nancy Ajaj, Tilal El satta and other young artists participated in a charitable concert to build the people's hospital for kidney transplant. Off course, such an edifice will be sanctuary for those suffering from any renal defect. In addition to that other singers like Kamal Tarbas and Mustafa Sunni took part in an identical event to raise funds for the benefit of diabetes patients association
During the recent rain flooding in several regions of Sudan, a group of singers including Saif El jama, Walid Zaki Eddin ,Sabah AAbdullah and Safwat Gilly joined Moruwa philanthropic society to sing in support of the flood affected areas and their touch of human nature was evident in the convoy of food and other necessary items.
"Faces" is a Sudanese theatrical innovative group that also has its stake in the good work. Faces troupe in cooperation with "Madariq" :information and culture institution launched on the stage of Youth and Children Palace a play with a quizzical title: I Shino:What is the matter?. On previous Sunday, in the National Theater of Sudan, there was a display of theatrical work called:"Rijal Akhir Zaman that is men of latest time. The good news was that director Yousef Hassan announced that the performance proceeds or revenue would be allotted for the needs of 53 poor families in the suburbs of Omdurman city.
Omer Eh Sas described artists as peace-makers and have influence on their admires and can urge them to contribute to charity events. He added they are "the best medium in the appeal for benefactors. On other hand,Nisreen Hindi a female singer, considers assistance for the needy within her community as a humane and national duty.
The late Mahjoub Sharif known as the people's poet will be memorialized through Majoub Sharif memorial foundation which is an initiative taken by friends. The non-profit foundation is expected to build a child culture center as well vocational training facility.
In the end, Art in response to the alleviation of man suffering and gratifying the palates plays an impressive and moving role.
