Possible indictment of Omar al-Bashir

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone on this board had any opinions on the possible prosecution of Omar al-Bashir by the ICC?

Although I personally think he has got away with allowing (and encouraging) the atrocities in Darfur for far too long, I can't help but think that if this case goes ahead it is just going to make the situation worse.

I would be very interested in the thoughts of other people!

Ok I don’t agree with you for many reasons one of them is :- the Sudanese government was not serious about Darfur’s problem since the begining which (might ) give a chance on implementing the agreements which was signed with the opps. and Darfur Movs in full…..
If you are speaking about the people I think it is not going to be better anyhow if this gov still in power …….the problem is if the ICC issues an arrest warrant and Albasheer use the population as a shield ……….
