Khartoum, May 1 (SUNA) - The Political Sector of the National Assembly has condemned the attempts of the armed movements to transfer violence to university arenas.
In its meeting Sunday under chairmanship of the Assistant of the President of the Republic and Deputy Chairman of the National Congress for the Party's Affairs, Engineer Ibrahim Mahmoud, the Political Sector reviewed the security and political situation at the universities in the centre and the states.
In a press statement, the Information Secretary at the National Congress and State Minister at the Minister of Information, Yasser Yousif, said that the Political Sector has called on the outlaws and the gun-holders to join the peace process and sign as soon as possible the roadmap of the African Union High-Level Implementation Panel which was earlier signed by the government toward cessation of war and achieving peace in South Kordofan and the Blue Nile.
He said that rushing of these forces to Europe and their meetings in Paris and other places will lead to the solution which exists inside Sudan and at the two areas.
Yousif affirmed that the ending of the citizens' suffering is the major concern of the party and the government.
