Khartoum, April 7 (SUNA)- The First Vice - President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. This came during his meeting in his office at the Council of Ministers' Secretariat General Thursday with the Minister of Environment, Natural Resources and Physical Development, Dr. Hassan Abdul-Gadir Hilal.
In a press statement after the meeting, Dr. Hilal said that they discussed the implementation of environment projects via funding of international organizations, top of them are the project for adaptation to climate change, the project of integrated water resources' management and the renewable energy project which will contribute alleviating the pressure on the National Electricity Grid and extending the electrify power service to other areas.
He said that the meeting has asserted the importance of disseminating the environment awareness through the mass media and the qualification of the manpower cadres at the ministry.
