Khartoum, Nov. 17 (SUNA)- The First Vice - President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, and the Assistant of the President of the Republic, Tuesday reviewed at the Republican Palace a number of important issues, including the national dialogue process, implementation of East Sudan Peace Agreement and means for combating human trafficking in the country.
In a press statement after the meeting, the Presidential Assistant said that the meeting has underscored importance of making a success the national dialogue and establishing the seventh committee which was assigned to carry out contacts with the rejecting parties and convincing them to join the dialogue.
Musa said that the meeting also affirmed the importance of holding a plenary conference, with participation of the official and people's authorities, to discuss the human trafficking phenomenon, referring to the on-going arrangements to form a preparatory committee for holding the conference in the coming days.
He said that the meeting also discussed the implementation of East Sudan Peace Agreement and the coordination between the Beja Congress and the National Congress on the issues of mutual concern.
