The meetings of Joint Sudanese-Ethiopian Economic Committee kicked off on Sunday in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum.
Sudan’s State Minister at the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Abdurrahman Dirar said in press statements that the joint meeting will get acquainted the decisions of the last meeting and the position of the free zones and the problems facing them and the problems facing the preferential trade between the two countries and facilitation of transfers between the two countries.
Sudan’s minister stressed that the meeting will discuss the difficulties facing the two countries in transferring currencies from Sudan to Ethiopia and vice versa as well as benefiting from the Ethiopian side in leather industry and discussing the construction of land roads between the two countries.
