Sudan’s government is to be dissolved next Thursday

Sudan’s government is likely to be dissolved next Thursday by a decree from the President Omer Al-Bashir, the country’s Information Minister, Ahmed Bilal Osman, revealed on Monday
Osman said this step comes to allow Al-Bashir to hold a new term of presidential office and it is expected that the Undersecretaries of the Ministries and the Secretary Generals of the governments are to be assigned to hold a caretaker office prior to setting-up the new government after June 2.
The Minister of Information affirmed that all preparations are now completed following the decision of the President Omar Al Bashir.
He outlined that the National Assembly and the Council of States will be racing to hold their first session in next month to come together in the session of the Legislative Authority, whereby Al Bashir will take the constitutional oath of office for a new term in the presence of more than 15 presidents and the leaders of the diplomatic corps and the civil Society organizations.
The Minister disclosed the external participation in the ceremony of inauguration of the President, saying that a big number of presidents and countries will attend the ceremony.
He said the celebration consists of two sides, the official side of oath taking to be followed by receiving congratulations from the visiting delegations along with the popular celebration in the green square in the evening.
