Russian Ambassador to has announced that his country supports the ongoing efforts for the resumption of the national dialogue, considering the elections were successful through the participation of people
The Russian diplomat told the run-state Sudan Media Center (SMC) on Tuesday that cable sent by Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulating his Sudanese counterpart Omar al-Bashir to his winning in the elections confirms readiness of Russian government and people fully to deal with Sudan in the political and economic aspects, pointing out that his country's support will be expressed in the international and regional forums
He noted that his country has been supporting the Sudanese economy via the mineral and industrial investments, indicating that this will be beginning for strategic cooperation between the two countries
