The director of Sudan’s National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS), Mohammed Atta, has emphasized that the current year will be the last one for insurgency in all parts of the country, pointing out that Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) will continue the “Decisive Summer Operations”
Atta, who was addressing graduation ceremony of batch(79) and (5) of NISS elements on Saturday, praised those people who participate in the elections, pointing out that the coming stage is important for it will be a stage of construction , comprehensive development and national dialogue.
He noted that SAF has started new stage in South Kordofan state to eliminate rebellion and protect the people, referring to extensive operations being conducted by the Rapid Support Forces in Darfur States to eradicate rebellion there, calling on opposition to listen to peace calls and join processes of peace and construction.
Gen. Atta went to stress that Sudan external relations, especially with friendly and sisterly Arab countries, remarkably improved and that weaken morale of those depend on foreign embargo to weaken the State.
He underlined, in signal to aggressions recently committed by rebels against armless citizens in South Kordofan State, that such aggressions would not a halt progress of development, stressing that the elections have safely and calmly ended.
