Sudan’s National Investment Authority announced on Friday that it has formed a technical committee composed of relevant authorities in preparation for Sudanese-UAE Economic Forum to be held in Emirate of Abu Dhabi on 12-13 May, and preparation of the projects and management of investment policies.
Following the meeting of the Technical Committee, Sudan’s Investment Minister, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, said that the preparation for this economic forum adopted by " Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abu Dhabi pursuant to directives of the UAE leadership at the highest level.
Ismail disclosed that the meeting dealt with the participation of the private sector and foreign private sector in Sudan and semi-public sectors, such as social security funds, as well as the banking sector so as to enhance the success of Emirates investments in Sudan and the success of the Forum and for attaining its objectives.
The meeting also dealt with the features of the programme of work of the Forum and bilateral meetings, along with the accompanying cultural programme of work of the Forum.
