Sudan’s Foreign Ministry denied on Friday rumors about Khartoum’s direction to close its Embassy in Yemen under the security turmoil in the capital Sana'a and other cities
Sudan’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Yousif Al-Kordofani, said in a press release that the rumors about the closure of the Sudanese Embassy in Sana'a is baseless , stressing that Embassy in Yemen operates normally throughout the day and it offering its full services to Sudanese community there.
Al-Kordofani revealed that his ministry has formed control room to monitor the conditions of Sudanese in Yemen, ruling out any intention of Sudan’s Government to close its Embassy there, adding that Sudanese in Yemen enjoy security, stability.
Saudi Arabia, Germany and Italy announced on Friday closure of their embassies in Yemen because of the violence in the country, and the United States, France and Britain take the same step previously.
