OIC announces that it will help Sudan to establish a Development Bank in Darfur

December 30, 2014-Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) announced on Tuesday that it will help Sudan to establish a Development Bank in Darfur for continued economic and infrastructural development in the region.
OIC Secretary-General, Iyad bin Amin Madani , arrived in Khartoum on Saturday on three-day visit to discuss with the officials relations between his Organization and Sudan and ways to support and develop all areas between the two parties
This development came during a meeting between the OIC Secretary-General, Iyad bin Amin Madani, and the Chief of Transitional Darfur Regional Authority, TDRA, Dr. Al-Tijani Al-Sisi.
During the meeting, they discussed the arrangements for the establishment of Darfur Development Bank aiming to contribute to the efforts of construction, reconstruction and development in the Darfur region, reported SPA.
