OIC Secretary-General visits Sudan to discuss many issues

December 27, 2014-Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad bin Amin Madani , OIC, will arrive in Khartoum today, Saturday on three-day visit in which he would discuss with the officials relations between his Organization and Sudan and ways to support and develop all areas between the two parties
Sudan's Permanent Representative to OIC, Abdul Hafiz Ibrahim, told Sudan News Agency (SUNA) on Friday that the OIC Secretary-General will meet with President Omar al-Bashir, Minister for finance, adding that the meting aims at show Sudanese experience in microfinance sector.
Ibrahim pointed out that Madani will brief Sudanese leadership on programmes and activities undertaken by OIC at various levels, besides exchange views on the latest developments in some Member States of the Organization
He added that the two parties also will discuss ways of activating cooperation between the Sudan and the Organization, in particular between Sudan and Member States in General to ensure continued support for projects promoting joint Islamic action.
