Government accuses head of SPLM-North delegation of destabilizing Sudan

Khartoum-Member of the government delegation to the talks on the areas of South Kordofan and Blue Nile Dr. Hussein Karshom has slammed the leader of SPLM-North delegation Yasir Arman, saying he is elusive and has no will. He further accused Arman of destabilizing Sudan.

Speaking to Al-Shoroq TV channel, he said that Arman has stated clearly, during the recent round of peace talks, that he would not sign an agreement on the two areas unless the armed movements are signed.

He quoted Arman as saying that Darfur movements are their neighbors with their forces combined together on the ground in south Kordofan in unbreakable military, alliance. He added if they signed without the Darfur rebel movements, it will have a direct impact on their personal security.
