Foreign Minister accuses bodies of conspiring against armed forces

Khartoum-The Foreign Minister Ali Karti has accused bodies he did not specify of doing a conspiring against the armed forces by claiming acts of rape in Thabit in north Darfur to incriminate the Sudan and stop the voluntary return of the displaced persons.

The foreign minister denied any connection between the rape allegations in Thabit and the Sudanese request to the UN and the African Union on the departure of the UNAMID.

He further said that designing exit strategy was based on the UN Security Council resolution number 1796, saying that the government has been asking the UN Secretary General for starting the preparation for exit strategy based on the improvement of the humanitarian and security situations in Darfur and the conduct if the parliamentary and presidential elections in the first quarter of the next year.
