Ghandour: Government receives invitation on resumption of talks with SPLM-North

Khartoum-The Assistant to the Sudanese President Professor Ibrahim Ghandour has announced invitation but the African mediator Thabo Mbeki to resume the talks with the SPLM-North sector on the two areas of South Kordofan and Blue Nile. However, he stated that the date for the start of the talks have not been set.

Speaking to head of East Africa at the German Foreign Ministry in Khartoum, Ghandour said the government is keen and committed to realize peace and stability in the two areas through talks.
