Kiir expresses concern over UN role in South Sudan

Khartoum-The President of South Sudan Salva Kiir, on Saturday, expressed concerns over the concentration of the UN peacekeeping forces to protect the civilians amid the renewal of fighting instead of the focusing on the building the state.

The fighting in South Sudan broke out last December after President Kiir relieved Reik Machar from his post as the Vice President of South Sudan.

The deep racial divisions ignited the acts of violence between the Dinka and Neur tribes.
