Sudanese government rejects cease fire in two areas

Khartoum-The head of the government delegation to the talks with the North Sector, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour has affirmed rejection to cessation of hostilities proposal under the pretext of delivering humanitarian aid for the needy people in the Blue Nile and South Kordofan, affirming readiness to agree on immediate cease fire in accordance with a security agreement and clear military arrangements.

Speaking to the general conference of the National congress party in River Nile state, Prof. Ghandour said that they reject the cessation of hostilities because the rebel movements have been using it as a truce to resume attacks on safe villages and areas.
