Women Politicians’ alliance calls for release of female detainees

Khartoum-The alliance of the female politicians has called for the immediate release of the Secretary General of the Sudanese Congress Party, Samia Kir and the deputy chairwoman of the National Umma Party Mariam Al-Mahdi, and for visiting the detainees in Al-Nuhud and Omdurman prisons. In a memorandum to the Human rights commission in Khartoum. The alliance affirmed concerns over the illegal and repeated arrests.

The alliance has considered the arrests as flagrant violation to the constitutional human rights of the detainees.
