Pretoria-The National Umma Party (NUP) and the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) in South Africa welcome the Paris Declaration signed between the NUP and SRF, as a positive step towards the unity of the democratic alternative forces and the mobilization of forces of change in order to stop the war, provide security for the Sudanese citizens, specially the internally displaced and refugees in order to return to their original home, comprehensive democratic change and the establishment of the state based on citizens' equality. It is clear that the regime was just buying time to hold another rigged election. The Paris Declaration closed the door for this futile government controlled dialogue, prioritized the efforts for the end of the wars in Sudan and called for a genuine national dialogue aiming to restore democracy in Sudan.
The declaration is another milestone towards uniting the opposition forces to work more effectively in dismantling the despotic of the Muslim brotherhood regime either through genuine dialogue or popular uprising protected and strengthened by the armed forces if need be. The Paris declaration opened the door for the convergence of all opposition political parties, civil society organizations, youth and other supporting forces to work now on the new system on which how Sudan would be ruled. It paved the way to building a comprehensive and just peace that achieves real and meaningful democratic transformation in Sudan.
We call on all opposition forces to join hands and work actively among all communities in every town and village in Sudan to prepare for the popular uprising to remove this despotic regime.
