Khartoum-The office of the deputy chairwoman of the National Umma Party Mariam Al-Sadeq Al-Mahdi has said that the security and intelligence service escorted on Monday night Mariam Al-Mahdi from Khartoum airport to unknown destination.
According to Sudan tribune sources, Mariam, which was coming from parties, was transported to the women prison in Omdurman after intensive investigations at the premises of the political security department in Bahri.
The chairman of the Umma Party Al-Sadeq Al-Mahdi and the head of the Sudanese Revolutionary Front Malik Agar has recently signed an agreement in which the revolutionary front has announced commitment to a two-month cease fire in all operations area to handle the humanitarian crisis. The declaration has included start of sound measures toward dialogue and the constitution process.
